We are proud to have hosted our inaugural Transportation Networking Event at The Shard, London and it was so successful, we are already planning the next.
It was a chance to discuss industry issues and the challenges facing manufacturers and operators at all levels – from train service operators and providers of rolling stock, to bus and coach service operators and their supply chains.
With falling passenger numbers, rising costs and pressure on funding, it is becoming more difficult for businesses in the sector to operate profitably and plan for growth. This meeting provided an opportunity for industry experts to share experiences and discuss potential solutions.
Hosted by Phil Bulman, Director, the event was attended by industry executives including Terence Watson, Alex Perry, Bernard Keane and Martin Vaughan along with a team of consultants at Vendigital including Jim Goodhead, Richard Gane, Jonathan Watt and Cei Beck.

As a result of their scale they were finding it increasingly difficult to aggregate and analyse spend information, across the organisation. Whilst Meggitt have rolled out an ERP system across their operations globally, the ability to visualise and analyse direct and indirect spend information demanded a need for a central spend analytics solution.
